Apparently he is up and shooting for his latest flick Kabali which is scheduled to release next year on the Tamil’s New Year’s Eve.

When we talk about Superstar Rajinikanth, his life has been no less than a movie itself. Hailing from a meagre family, he worked as a bus conductor until 1973 when he joined an acting school to chase his dreams. In hindsight, it looks all dreamy and movie-like, but one always knows that it is only hard work that pays off so well. In case of our favorite thalaivar, it’s no different. With a humble beginning, he achieved commendable heights in success and respect.

We can say that he is the most respected actor in the south Indian film industry.

He has 158 movies to boast of and tons of fans. Respect and fame- he has achieved both, in 40 years of working in film industry.

Superstar playing a Mafia don, how awesome is that!

The famous networking site Twitter got a treat from Rajinikanth himself when he posted the first look of his latest film- Kabali. The fandom rushed into a frenzy over his latest look. Sitting on a couch, in his grey suave suit, this first poster of Kabali has already taken the internet in a storm.

Since his last two movies, Kochadaiyaan and Lingaa didn’t quite do well at the box-office, the fans are highly anticipating this movie. The entire Chennai is celebrating the two new posters where in one Rajinikanth is seen fighting with a bunch of goons single-handed with a chain.

The movie shooting locations of Kabali have been in the news too. From the controversial Chettinad Palace shoot location to building up set resembling Thailand, the movie is making the fans go crazy. Sources say that shooting locations include Malaysia, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Goa and also Hyderabad.

It is also being said, that with Kabali, superstar Rajinikanth is all set to shed his superstar image which has been preserved for so long.

He will be portraying a character much closer to his age but with equal charisma and poise!

With Kabali, our thalaivar will break all his previous stereotypes and come out as an aged mafia don. Let us see how well the audience take this change.
